A couple of days ago I saw this BlueSky post, and I relate 100%! It’s all about sharing and caring, keeping up a friendly and healthy comic community. ;)

NANO JAMS

Dan Whitehead and I already started working on character designs and pencils for our NANO JAMS story. He’s written something very special, full of cyberpunk madness, nostalgia and chunky wreckers! Here’s a little peek:

COURIER Z

Last year I shared a couple of sneak pics about this project. And now that the project is LIVE and funded in Kickstarter, I can share some more! Here’s the process of the first page: thumbnails, pencils, inks and colours:

Written by Nick Bryan, and drawn by amazing artists, including myself! This a great scifi anthology about the adventures and misadventures of Courier Z.

“Combining the satirical worldview of Judge Dredd with the scuzzy sci-fi comedy of Red Dwarf, the high-concept worldhopping of Doctor Who and the job description of Postman Pat, Courier Z is here to make you laugh, cry and feel better about your own life.”

And on top of that, I probably had the most fun I’ve ever had drawing a PinUp. I came up with a couple of ideas for the PinUp, but Nick and I couldn't stop the inevitable: the birth of the pig world. :D

FESTIVALS

I’ll be tabling at CYMERA Festival on the 1st and 2nd of June along other amazing creators. I’ll have plenty copies of ANTICUCHO and my other Peruvian Cyberpunk books, PinUps and more! If you’re around Edinburgh during those days it’d be great to see you!
